This morning we had to take Taylen to his pediatrician Dr. Azam for a checkup on his jaundice. Dr. Azam said that Taylen looks perfect and since he didn’t look yellowish anymore she didn’t see a need to draw blood. He weighed 8 lbs. 2.2 oz. and she said this was great because when he was born he was 8 lbs. 0.2 oz. and most babies go down in weight and do not reach their birth weight until at least 2 weeks after birth. His next Dr.’s appointment is in 4 weeks.
